The subject in this lesson is the authority of the believer. This lesson drawn in part from teaching by Pastor Bob Yandian of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
In the beginning God in Genesis prephased everything we with”we said.”
God made man in his image.
God gave man dominion and authority over everything.
Salvation is the first gift of God to man. Giving man authority.
When man receives salvation, you come into God’s authority.
Jesus is the head of the Church, we’re the body of Christ, and so Satan is under your feet.
We have to get into the Word, to find the truth that reigns in our lives.
The hardest people to teach are those who have been taught lies about the powers of God, free will, salvation, etc.
Satan wants to confuse you, to convince you that circumstances in your life (like sickness, disease, etc,) rule in your life, rather than you ruling over them, calling on the promises of God. Use/employ/apply the power that Jesus has given you.
When confronted with this truth about authority, we said, “well that’s just for Jesus, but not me, a mere mortal.” This is NOT true. God has turned over all authority to you. Use it. Lean on Scripture and what Jesus promised all of you, from wealth to family and across the board of life.
