Louise Teaching on Healing, Tuesday Nov. 7, 2023

Jesus Healing the Sick

This lesson is on healing, across all our boundaries.

A foudational verse is found in 1 Peter 2:24

1 Peter 2:24 New International Version 24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

The pursuit of healin is not simply in your physical body, but across your existence spiritually, mentally, in all ways that affliction attacks you.

Louise emphasizes in praying not simply for yourself, but for others as well.

Disappointment has led people to give up on healing. But God is not the problem. We are. Where did I miss it Lord? You need to ask yourself certain questions regarding:

1. Unforgiveness in your life.

2. Need to do it in faith. Know what God promises.

Need to ask the Lord, “take me back to the basics Lord.”

Louise wants all to learn the basics of healing for themselves and apply them.

We have to be patient as we learn. God will hear you out if you put faith in his promises and words.

You have to do the great work of healing by learning and applying God’s word every day.

How you handle adversity, for example, is going to remake you into an overcomer in Christ Jesus.

For every problem God has an answer. God has answers for all your problems, but you have to keep your eyes on Him.

Louise Teaching on Authority, Part 2, Thursday October 26, 2023

The subject in this lesson is the authority of the believer. This lesson drawn in part from teaching by Pastor Bob Yandian of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In the beginning God in Genesis prephased everything we with”we said.”

God made man in his image.

God gave man dominion and authority over everything.

Salvation is the first gift of God to man. Giving man authority.

When man receives salvation, you come into God’s authority.

Jesus is the head of the Church, we’re the body of Christ, and so Satan is under your feet.

We have to get into the Word, to find the truth that reigns in our lives.

The hardest people to teach are those who have been taught lies about the powers of God, free will, salvation, etc.

Satan wants to confuse you, to convince you that circumstances in your life (like sickness, disease, etc,) rule in your life, rather than you ruling over them, calling on the promises of God. Use/employ/apply the power that Jesus has given you.

When confronted with this truth about authority, we said, “well that’s just for Jesus, but not me, a mere mortal.” This is NOT true. God has turned over all authority to you. Use it. Lean on Scripture and what Jesus promised all of you, from wealth to family and across the board of life.

Louise Teaching on Loneliness and How To Deal With It, Thursday Oct. 26, 2023

Louise started to teach on authority, but moved to a moment of loneliness she had felt recently.

Loneliness tends to be a big factor in the age today. How do we deal with loneliness in our lives, for whatever reason? It can be divorce, moving to a new church perhaps, children grown and gone off, not feeling included in something, then turning to drinking, drugs, especially by older women, numbing your sense with alcohol for example.

Louise has been in most of those places at one time, including divorce, isolated in another–new–town or city, felt excluded, felt disappointment.

Then the Lord spoke to her: “You are never alone.” Louise decribes the presence and comfort of the Lord, his Spirit directly in your life.

In the middle of all strife around the world today, the Lord is always there for you.

Louise recalles the stories of David, Jeremiah, Isaiah, all attest to the presence of God in their lives when needed.

Sometime when we think we are alone, remember Jesus, often isolated with just three friends, but when he needed comfort and support, he only had to turn to his Father, God who was always there.

Jesus will always take care of you, Spirit, soul, and body. Look at the source of God’s strength and wisdom.

Don’t run to the bottle, nor pills. Turn, instead, to the word of God.

Louise Teaching on What Scripture Says About “Worry,” Thursday Oct. 19, 2023

Louise addresses the subject of “worry” today among Christians from the Biblical point of view. What is what? How is it described in Scripture? How do Jesus and his disciples, like the Apostle Paul, address worry? What should you expect from God when you come to him with your problems and worry? What texts in Scripture do you need to bring to mind when worry strikes you? Who do you trust most to take of you and your worries? How do you call on God to help you?

One of the favorite verses of the Bible on worry is:

And the seven most familiar verses in the Bible on worry, including the above:

1. 2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (NKJV)

2. 1 Peter 5:7

Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. (NIV)

3. Exodus 14:14

The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. (NIV)

4. Psalm 46:10

Be still, and know that I am God.  I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! (ESV)

5. Hebrews 13:5b-6

…for He has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear what can man do to me?” (ESV)

6. Isaiah 41:10

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. (NIV)

7.  Romans 8:37-39

…in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NIV)

Louise Teaching on the Three Parts of the Holy Spirit, and With How to Deal With What We All Face in the World, Thursday Oct. 19, 2023

Louise teaching on the trinity of the Holy Trinity in the beginning of this study.
This is followed by a study of the truth in Scripture. And especially how to deal with people who deny the basic truths in Scripture. Especially on how to depend on God for everything, all the time. everything from how to deal with money, with pride, and with the opposites, loose of income, jobs, family fights, etc. She uses personal examples in her own family, and the stories of friends.

Pastor Louise on Israel and What is Happening Today, Oct. 11, 2023

Pastor Louise addresses the fascinating subject of the nation of Israel from the Biblical perspective, beginning as far back as Genesis 10.

October 9, 2023, the Holy Spirit and What’s Happening Today

What’s happening all around us, especially in Israel. Louise addresses what is taking place in the “last days” and what Scripture has to say about Jesus taking us out at the right time.

The Rapture of the Church

The Seven Years of Tribulation

And the Return of Jesus

Louise reads from Second Timothy, Chapter Three

Growing Up Spiritually, Part 2, Jan. 23, 2023

Louise continues today on how to teach “baby” Christians to grow up as Christians, fully in the Words and principles of Scripture.

She uses Proverbs as one of the principal instruction “manuals” for Christian living.

Ephesians 4:13 also quoted. On becoming mature Christians.

Ephesians 4:13

New International Version

13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Love is the glue which holds everything together. This is one of the major teachings, and, while it looks simple, it is difficult to do unless you read and understand Scripture thoroughly.

Louise tells the story of Dr. Kenneth Hagin facing members of his congregation in a loving, but, strong fashion. He was honest and frank, something often lacking from those who instruct and teach on Christianity these days.

Saturday Sept. 23, 2023 Growing Up Spiritually

Pastor Louise begin with Proverbs, chapter 3, New International Version

Wisdom Bestows Well-Being

My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, 2 for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. 3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.[a] 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. 8 This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; 10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. 11 My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, 12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.[b] 13 Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, 14 for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. 16 Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. 17 Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed. 19 By wisdom the LORD laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; 20 by his knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew. 21 My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion; 22 they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. 23 Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble. 24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. 25 Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, 26 for the LORD will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared. 27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. 28 Do not say to your neighbor, “Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”— when you already have it with you. 29 Do not plot harm against your neighbor, who lives trustfully near you. 30 Do not accuse anyone for no reason— when they have done you no harm. 31 Do not envy the violent or choose any of their ways. 32 For the LORD detests the perverse but takes the upright into his confidence. 33 The LORD’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous. 34 He mocks proud mockers but shows favor to the humble and oppressed. 35 The wise inherit honor, but fools get only shame.

Louise talks today about the importance of the need to grow spiritually. When growing up she had no feeling of responsibility to grow up as a Christian.

She just went through the motions, church, Sunday School, etc.

A very good book by Kenneth E. Hagin, Growing Up Spiritually, is the book she refers to in this lesson.

Actions as a Christian do have consequences.

What you did in your life before today is in the past. You can’t change it. But, you can change and adapt to God’s principles and instructions from this day on.

Check out anyone teaching on Christianity in Church, Small Groups, Sunday School, with the word of God. What you may have learned—denominational teaching—may not conform to actual Scripture.

This is especially true with “baby,” or new, Christians. Much of this lesson moves through Louise’s exhortation to make your learning and teaching conform to Scripture, especially after being born again, but, then, equally important, following through with the actual teachings in Scripture.
