Louise Teaching from the Book of Psalms, Part 2, Saturday Aug. 26 2023

An Evil Heart of Unbelief, Part 2

You cannot enter (into salvation for example) in unbelief. Two unbeliefs here: not receiving Salvation; and, two, once you have received it, what do you do with it?

And one big reason you cannot enter God’s promises and gifts, it is because of disobedience.

Louise teaches these principles by examining the life of the early Hebrews in Exodus and other books of the Pentateuch, first Five Books of the Bible.

Then she shifts to today, and the misuse of the doctrine of works. If I do enough (soup kitchen, etc.) I will be saved. Not so. You can only receive Salvation through the free gift of God, his Grace. The bottom lines is God speaking: “did you receive my son Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.”  It is given to us freely by the Grace of God.

What you do after you are “born again,” for which you will receive rewards in heaven.  But, what do I do after Salvation here on earth? Louise describes some of the actions, like sharing good things (the Word of God for example) with others.

Louise says one can tell a religious person when one sees one..

“I always sit in the same seat in Church. I am not able to hear God unless I am sitting in the same seat all the time,” etc.

People, for example, are afraid of change, like changing from worshipping at one church to another.

The story of God and Abraham told. The first thing God told Abraham to do was to “change,” leave everything you have and do what I say.

Louise then told about her story of moving from Lakeland, Fl. to Tulsa, Ok., from her comfortable life in Florida to something quite different at Rhema Bible Institute.

She moved, indeed, from security to moving, and obeying God. He told me “Louise you have to step out of the boat and walk on the water.” It was difficult at times but ‘I knew that I was where God wanted me to be.”

Wrap to this lesson. You may not be profiting in your religious life at the place/church where you are now. If so, you need to GO where you can truly worship God. You are never going to stand still spiritually. You need to decide today where I need to be to grow spiritually.

Louise ended with a prayer. “Father I come to you in the name of Jesus …and I am asking and calling You in the name of Jesus.I want to be your child.”

An Evil Heart of Unbelief as Opposed to Walking in the Finished Works of Jesus Christ, Part 1

  • Louise teaches on our memory spans of the goodness of God’s work in our lives. Psalms 13: 1-6
  • Psalm 13[a]
  • For the director of music. A psalm of David.
  • How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
  • Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
  • But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing the Lord’s praise,
  • We need to seek God’s counsel and discover what God wants for us, like what to do today? For example.
  • The Jews tested God, but you really don’t want to test God!
  • Louise tells the story of the Hebrews doubting God when Moses was dealing them to take them out of Egypt. In Book of Exodus.
  • Hebrews 3:12   Paul admonishes Jews not to judge God.

Hebrews 3:12

New International Version

12 See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.

  • People had become unteachable.
  • There is a heart of evil and unbelief today.
  • We need to rest in the finished works of Jesus when he went to the Cross, not on our own being and/or merits.
  • We have to learn in how to rest in the peace of God, to maintain the study the word of God daily and walk in total obedience to what the Holy Spirit is teaching us.
  • What do you need to work on? Pride, etc.

Pastor Louise Teaching on the Day of Jubilee and It’s Meaning for Us, August 12, 2023

Pastor Louise teaches today on the Day of Jubilation, often thought as belonging strictly to the Old Testament, but having a significant meaning for us as Christians today.

A wonderful web site, on Biblical Questions and Answers–https://www.gotquestions.org/Jubilee.html– prepares us for today’s lesson by Pastor Louise. “The word “jubilee”—literally, “the blast of a horn” in Hebrew—is defined in Leviticus 25:9 as the sabbatical year after seven cycles of seven years (49 years). The fiftieth year was to be a time of celebration and rejoicing for the Israelites. The ram’s horn was blown on the tenth day of the seventh month to start the fiftieth year of universal redemption.” “The Year of the Jubilee involved a year of release from indebtedness (Leviticus 25:23-38) and all types of bondage (vv. 39-55). All prisoners and captives were set free, all slaves were released, all debts were forgiven, and all property was returned to its original owners. In addition, all labor was to cease for one year, and those bound by labor contracts were released from them. One of the benefits of the Jubilee was that both the land and the people were able to rest.” “The Jubilee presents a beautiful picture of the New Testament themes of redemption and forgiveness. Christ is the Redeemer who came to set free those who are slaves and prisoners to sin (Romans 8:2; Galatians 5:1; 3:22). The debt of sin we owe to God was paid on the cross as Jesus died on our behalf (Colossians 2:13-14), and we are forgiven the debt forever. We are no longer in bondage, no longer slaves to sin, having been freed by Christ, and we can truly enter the rest God provides as we cease laboring to make ourselves acceptable to God by our own works (Hebrews 4:9-10).”

Grace, Part One on Fear and How to Deal with It

Louise teaches the first part of a three part study of Grace. In this video she is focusing on fear. She begins with a short study of the Book of Job.

How does one deal with things that go against you. Job had to face fear in what happened to him. On the other hand, you have been given the power to speak life and death over matters.

Your words can bring about situations in your life that you may not even be aware of.

Fear, the opposite of love, goes against what the Lord has for you.

On the other hand, if I am walking within the principles and teachings of Jesus, then God has a solution for everything. Problems are going to come, but how you handle them is part of Jesus’s teachings.

Louise presents a series of “how to talk ” and how to confess the power and Word of God in dealing with problems, bondage, sickness, drugs, etc. Jesus told us the Kingdom of God opened up for you when you acccepted Salvation. Your Kingdom and all it promises is now. Having the right answer, the right words, will come to you through the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

And we need to be ready to respond to people about the power and teachings of Jesus and the Apostles.

Louise then remembered when her home was destroyed by a fire in 2017, but how God gave husband and her strength and hope. Fear and hurt were put apart.

It is important Louise emphasized to get into God’s word and use them as you face fear and other situations.

Love to all of you.

Fellowshiping with God, by Louise Clayton, Saturday May 20, 2023

Louise teaches on putting God into the center of your life.
Be quiet and in his presence is God’s way of instructing us.
Trust in him for everything.

God is our best friend. Run to him. Let him take care of you.

God wants to take you and change you from a moth to a butterfly. God is always working on those areas of our life that need to be changed.
