Let’s start with Jone 15:9-10: 9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. ”
Talking about the love walk. Abide in his love, important.
When you love another as I have loved you. Love has a lot to do with getting your prayers answered. The “love walk” is among the most important.
“The fruit of the spirit is love. See Galatians 5:22-23: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Love is the character of God
Louise uses the metaphor of an orange. There are segments, which represent the fruits of the Spirit, among them, peace, long suffering
(are you silent, or loud in describing your long suffering in love), kindness (is an active act)goodness, morality, wholeness, and faithfullness.
Ministers today are afraid to preach the whole truth or word of God, not just wanting to make your congregation feel good. They fail to address such subjects as homosexuality, etc.
Or, how about girls dressing like hookers, and the subjects of drinking and drugs.
Parents, the above problems are YOUR problems!
Morality is part of the walk of faith.
What NEEDS to be taught in church is NOT being taught. Parents need to step up to the plate.
