The Hebrews could not enter Canaan without believing the word that has to be mixed in with faith. “Enter into his rest” through faith.
Faith without words is dead. Not contradictory or wrong. First there is faith, then works proceed. Not the other way around. Good works do not produce faith.
Jesus and his word are the same. His word is fulfilled by Jesus himself. Need to add faith to your own word and beliefs.
Stand on the word and do not be moved.
Shaking hands in the old days is the same as signing a contract today. And God’s word, like shaking hands, is his reputation.
God is moved not by your needs, but your FAITH. You put your faith in his unchangeable, unchanging word.
Love, hope, and patience always found by putting your faith to work.
